NOYS® Injury Prevention
The NOYS® Injury Prevention Working Group seeks ways to increase collaboration among organizations with missions of protecting youth. Injury prevention is a broad topic and is woven into many issues addressed by NOYS® and its members. Specific topics of interest include: traffic, violence, substance use, farming, and health related issues. Preventing injuries as a result of making poor decisions within any of the these situations benefit all. NOYS® can be a catalyst that joins injury prevention experts with experts in program delivery. Organizations need not have safety within their mission to play a role in injury prevention.
